We look forward to your attendance at one of our dog training classes or seminars.

Canine Coach Class Policies:

Please come to class on time, with the required training equipment, to include:

1)  a bait bag containing a variety of small, soft, tasty treats,
2)  your dog’s favorite small toy,
3)  a flat buckle collar, no-pull harness, or head halter, no correction collars will be allowed,
4)  a 4 to 6 foot leather or nylon leash, no flexi-leashes will be allowed,
5)  a clicker (will be provided the first day of class).

A copy of your dog’s current vaccination history must be on file by the first class meeting.

All family members are encouraged to attend and participate in class. However, for the safety of all class participants, children under the age of eight will require additional adult supervision. It is difficult to participate fully in class while monitoring the behavior of young children.

Canine Coach Payment/Refund/Cancellation Policy:  Payment is due by the first day of class. Please consider your schedule carefully as no refunds will be given after the start of class. You may be rescheduled into another class within 6 months. You are welcome and encouraged to observe a class prior to enrolling. When cancellations occur, due to weather or unforeseen emergencies, an additional class session will be added. If you miss a session, please contact the trainer as soon as possible to schedule a makeup session, in another class, as space is available.

 

Canine Coach, Inc. Group Class Contract

Class Policies/Waiver

1. Canine Coach, Inc. will make every effort to provide a safe environment for the care and training of my dog. However, I understand that I am, and will remain, responsible for the actions of my dog at all times. I understand that attendance of a dog training class is not without risk to myself, members of my family, guest who may attend, or my dog. Therefore I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canine Coach, Inc. of any and all claims of injury, expense, cost, or damages caused by the actions of my dog while under the care of Canine Coach, Inc., or while under my own care, as a result of following training instructions.

2. Photograph/Video Consent: I hereby consent to myself, my family and my dog being the subject of the photographs and/or audiovisual recording and authorize Canine Coach, Inc to cause the same to be exhibited for educational purposes as still photographs, video or other similar media. I hereby release Canine Coach, Inc. from any and all claims for damages for libel, slander, invasion of privacy or any other claim based on use of the above-described material(s).

3. 4. Children: All family members are encouraged to attend and participate in class. Children are welcome, but due to safety concerns, children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult other than the parent primarily handling the dog.

5. Vaccination Requirements: All puppies must have a veterinary examination and first set of vaccinations to attend class. All dogs over four months must have at least two distemper combinations , rabies, and bordetella vaccinations at least 72 hours prior to the start of class. Canine Influenza vaccination is recommended. You must either bring proof of vaccination to the first training session, or email a copy to info@YourCanineCoach.com.

6. Payment/Refund/Cancellation Policy: Payment is due during registration. Please consider your schedule carefully as no refunds will be given after the start of class. You may be rescheduled into another class within 6 months. You are welcome and encouraged to observe a class prior to enrolling. When cancellations occur, due to weather or unforeseen emergencies, an additional session will be added at the end of class. If you miss a session, please contact the trainer as soon as possible to schedule a makeup session, in another class as space is available, or a private makeup session at the training facility, for an additional fee at reduced rates.

7. Weather Policy: In the event of bad weather, please check for an email notification of cancelled classes before leaving home. Emails will be sent by 9 am for morning classes, noon for afternoon classes, and 5 pm for evening classes. If you cannot retrieve your email before class, please text 719-200-2636 for confirmation. You will be notified of make-up options for any class cancelled due to bad weather. In Colorado Springs sometimes weather varies from one side of the street to the other. If classes have not been cancelled but you feel unsafe driving to class please text me to let me know you are not coming and I will arrange a make-up time for you with another class.
